AMUA Accelerator is an innovative Sexual Reproductive Health ideas mentorship-driven acceleration project supporting young entrepreneurs with seed funding, training, and skills development. The project is geared to generate innovative solutions to sexual and reproductive health-related challenges. It was initiated in 2017.

 

Also, the AMUA Accelerator (Sexual Reproductive Health Information Portal) was developed. The portal which impacted 350+ young leaders working in the Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) sector coming up with various innovative solutions to sexual and reproductive health-related challenges. It also attracted 7359 media at local, regional, and international.

 

The project is implemented with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in collaboration with Sahara Sparks and Mulika Tanzania. The best idea generated is Harakati za Lucy, E-shangazi, Mkwawa Arts Space, and Maisha package, which are now on community making impacts on the lives of youth focusing on Sexual Reproductive Health challenges.
